I'd like to schedule an appointment

...to see Doctor House.
Seriously! I'm sick and tired of incompetent doctors that don't see any obvious things wrong with you so they just assume that nothings wrong with you!
Went to the clinic today at the insistence of Jeff (I was going to go just not until tomorrow when I don't work) and it was a complete and utter waste of my time (precious sleeping time no less). I saw the doctor, she asked me some questions then sent me to the lab for some blood tests. My CBC came back normal, no signs of infection at all, and she said she'd mail the results on my liver, kidney and thyroid functions (which will all be normal). I was told to go home, continue what I'm doing (including taking 2,400 milligrams of Ibuprofen a day) and keep an eye on my symptoms. WTF?!?!?
I could've gotten an extra hour of sleep before getting ready for work and probably would've made it through most of the day before feeling ill again. Instead I waited till after my appointment (about 15 minutes before I had to punch in) to take anything for the pain (I didn't want anything lowering my temperature so they could see I have a fever) and, with all the running around I'd already done, it took a couple hours for the meds to kick in. By that time my boss had already seen how much crap I looked like and she sent me home early (nice because I went straight to sleep when I got home but dammit I need the money and I happen to love my job).

So what's wrong with me? Well I wish I knew but here's my symptoms:
Feeling flushed (and, on least one occasion, actually looking it too)
Feeling achy all over (though mostly/generally in my thighs)
Headaches that aren't afraid of the big bad motrin (no, not migraines...tension ones that start in my forehead and move slowly to the back of my head and then return to my forehead)
Neck soreness/stiffness
Memory loss (ok, so I have a problem with that normally but this is worse)
Fever ranging from 100.1 - 100.9 when I'm feeling at my worst (it's normal when I feel better)
Fatigue/malaise that remains with me throughout the day
Trouble sleeping at night (possibly the cause of symptom above)
Sore throat (though this isn't a biggie as it is very minimal and I only have it occasionally...and it's probably just due to the extreme dryness in our house during the winter months)
I've been coughing a tiny bit the last two days also but I am thinking its not related (firstly because all the other symptoms I've had for 2-3 weeks now and secondly because I think I actually brought it on myself (drank about a gallon of milk on Saturday because I was craving it something awful and then was clearing my throat for hours that night because of all the phlegm..I think I just irritated my throat))

So these symptoms used to only occur once a day around 5-7pm but now they are occurring all the time. The only respite I get is after I take the 800 milligrams of Ibuprofen and that only lasts for a couple of hours.

But there's nothing wrong with me.
